This is an amazingly beautiful piece of wood with some spectacular spalting. The bowl is heavily spalted in just the right areas. It is a solid piece of wood that also has good figuring. This one has it all, splating, colorful grain, and figuring. The bottom is finished in a design and is signed by the Artist, Doug Scharf. You be amazed you own it. The bowl measures 11" wide and 2 1/4" high. It has been hand rubbed to a satin sheen with many coats of Danish Oil.
